Stainless steel shaft is widely used in medical instruments, low-temperature engineering, optical instruments, high-speed machine tools, high-speed motors, printing machinery, food processing machinery and other industries, but in the process of use, we often encounter some more common stainless steel bearing products, this article in detail examples of several stainless steel bearing common problems and treatment methods.
1. Bearing heating.
If the bearing lubricating oil is insufficient, it should be oiled and check whether the oil circuit is smooth; If the lubricating oil has impurities, the bearing should be cleaned, the new oil should be replaced, and the filter should be cleaned; If the assembly is poor, the journal and stainless steel bearing skew, biased load, can be added at the bottom of the bearing seat gasket; If the bearing clearance is too small, the clearance should be readjust.
2. Shaft heating.
If the oil retaining or rubber sealing ring on the shaft is too tight, the position of the packing back cover should be adjusted; If there is friction between the shaft and the radial of the stainless steel bearing cover, the radial clearance between the shaft and the bearing cover should be checked and adjusted, generally 0.25~0.3mm.
3. There is less oil on the main friction surface.
If the pipeline is blocked and the oil ditch is shallow, the pipeline should be cleaned to deepen the oil ditch; If the oil temperature is low and the fluidity is poor, the lubricating oil should be replaced according to the ambient temperature; If the oil ring rotates slowly and the oil spillage is bad, check whether the oil ring falls off and scratches the edge. If the oil surface is too high, the oil can be put to the standard height; If the gasket is adjusted to block the lubricating oil, the position of the gasket should be checked.
4. Oil spills.
If the amount of oil is much, the oil supply should be adjusted to maintain the standard height of the oil surface; If the sealing device fails, tighten the gland, thicken the felt ring or replace the sealing material; If the bearing seat has holes and oil seepage, the bearing seat should be replaced or the pores should be blocked by filling lead.
5. Axial jump.
If the bearing clearance is too large, gasket should be removed and adjusted; If the rotating body (gear, belt wheel, etc.) dynamic balance is not good, should check and adjust the dynamic balance; If the bearing is unstable, tighten the bearing seat bolt; If the coupling installation offset is large, gasket should be added on the bearing seat ground to adjust the coupling installation accuracy.
6 stainless steel bearing fracture failure.
The main reason of stainless steel bearing fracture failure is defect and overload. When the external load exceeds the strength limit of the material and the parts fracture is called overload fracture. The main cause of overload is the sudden failure of the host or improper installation. The defects of bearing parts such as microcracks, shrinkage holes, bubbles, large foreign debris, overheating tissue and local burns will also cause fracture at the defect when the impact overload or violent vibration, which is called defect fracture. It should be pointed out that in the manufacturing process of bearings, whether the above defects exist can be correctly analyzed through instruments in the re-inspection of raw materials, quality control of forging and heat treatment, and control of processing process, and it is still necessary to strengthen control in the future. But generally speaking, most of the stainless steel bearing fracture failures are overload failures.
